The Motorcycle Piece

The Motorcycle Piece :: I did this piece in 2007 as I was recovering from a torn Achilles tendon. I worked directly in micro crystalline wax. I put a lot of detail in the piece because it was the only thing I could work on at the time. The piece was inspired by someone I saw leaving church on a motorcycle. I’m sure some people didn’t know what to think of the biker. I inscribed “JESUS IS LORD” on the back of his jacket to make sure that everyone knew what this biker believed.
