Hasty Retreat…..1993

This mostly abstract piece was made in using several species of wood including cherry and black walnut.  As with most of my wood pieces, I did not leave any obvious clues about how the pieces were joined together.  This piece is about 4 ½ feet tall.  There are obvious references to birds and fish.
